I looked at the accountability of being in the group as a positive support. I have changed my idea around the guilt of not doing everything everyday, but rather doing something is a good start.

I used to struggle with self-doubt and staying consistent with movement... regular exercise.
I would start with good intentions, but before long I would lose momentum and feel stuck in that all-too-familiar loop.
As I approached midlife, I noticed that shifting excess weight wasn’t as easy as it once was, and it wasn’t just about the exercise. Peri menopause was playing out too.
Everything changed when I committed to the real work - the inner work, the body work, and the mindset work. Self compassion is key when embracing the midlife changes.
Now, in midlife, I feel more grounded, confident, and connected than ever before. I’ve learned to value the energy that fitness brings, along with the added bonus of a healthy weight range... and I want the same for you.
I created The Self Love Affair® Body Compass Reset to help women rewrite their relationship with movement - not as punishment, but as a path to self-trust and wellbeing.

The Body Compass Reset includes 6 x beginner-friendly, bodyweight workouts over the 14 days, with a focus on gentle movement, mobility, and building confidence.
As a Personal Trainer, I work within my professional scope and always recommend getting medical clearance if you're unsure about your suitability for movement-based programs.
Once cleared, you’re welcome to modify exercises or take rest days as needed, this program is about listening to your body and reconnecting at your own pace.

No pressure, no perfection, just small, joyful steps that help you remember how good it feels to move your body again.
No, You don’t need anything fancy - just your body and a willingness to have a go.
These workouts are designed with midlife women in mind (yes, including the “I haven’t exercised in forever” and “everything feels a bit stiff” stage of life).
Move at your pace. Modify as needed. And if all else fails… dance it out in the kitchen. That counts too!
Honestly… yes! If that’s what gets you moving, I’m here for it. Barefoot, in your PJs, hair a mess - doesn’t matter. Just show up, move your body, and most importantly, have a little fun with it!
If you’ve got 15–20 minutes, you’ve got time.
This isn’t about cramming in long workouts or adding more stress to your day. It’s about finding little pockets of time to move your body, lift your mood, and remind yourself how good you can feel.
No big deal! This is real life, not bootcamp. Just jump back in when you’re ready. Remember... progress over perfection always wins the long game.
